According to this latest PC Magazine article entitled, "Ten MP3 Players—All Under $150" you might not need an iPod after all. The goal of this article was to persuade you that there is much more out there besides that coveted iPod Touch. However, that doesn't mean that iPod's themselves are out of the question. They are simply suggesting you go for the much more affordable iPod Touch. The article states,
"Budget MP3 players market can be divided into three categories. First up we have "Ultra-Cheap"—simple devices that don't offer much additional functionality beyond basic music playback. These players typically cost well under $100 and make good choices for music lovers on a budget, or anyone who fears losing an expensive device to a treadmill or, worse, the cold, hard pavement. The article itself lists 10 amazing MP3 players that won't put a huge dent in your pocket book. So next time your thinking about purchasing a cheap iPod, consider some alternatives before you make the choice. But, don't listen to us, we're still pushing for Apple.
